If you keep a log (I do) you really need to decide what you want it to do or you could end up with a solution in search of a problem.

TWC, you hit it on the head! I'm looking for something to just track my trades and show a few minor statistics, like total P&L, win/loss rate. I will start a journal of what the market looks like and what went wrong etc at another time. Can only do one thing at a time. A comment line on each trade would allow for minor information. Most trading logs I see take too much work!! LOL!

I have a three sheet spread sheet. A sim section where I post what I should have done, a real time section where I download from the Brokerage and a summary page where I bring the results from the two together and then do statistics. Because things change with tick charts I do record the time for sim transactions.

Coolbiz on same page as Cobra, just tweeted that he has closed out his longs, waiting for better price action to re-enter the trade.
Down action is really bumpy, my chart is very heavy on wicks and tails.
