Cobra's Market View

Gap up at Friday's high, so not sure whether the gap will be filled. One thing is certain, if the gap get's filled again and today close open > close, we'd have 2 reversal bars in a row, that's no good news for bulls. So bulls MUST march high today!

Hard to call Global ES, because it could be seen as back test of the previous high therefore some chances of reversal, but it also could be a consolidation before breakout. So either way, we'll have to wait and see.

Generally, since today's a holiday, the volume is thin, so no big fund would sell on such a thin volume day, therefore it's rare for a holiday to be a big red day if not green.

Should bullish opening not (not!) fail I'll be watching 1178 and 1192 (1192 presumably not today...). I'm not longing this bounce, only shorting/scalping resistance (I'll only change this concept if 1192 (DMA 55) and expecially 1210 (DMA 377) are busted.

Posting opening chart 4 u. If u have time please watch open and thereafter. I stripped everything else out except $NYADV/$NYDEC candles and SPY ohlc bars. U should be able to refresh and watch A/D sticks move minute by minute (can u?)
When I say that adv/dec “resets” on open and doesn’t “carry over” from yesterday, watch and see… that is exactly what I mean.
As stocks open, the computers “grab” each quote, computer ignores stocks-halted-pending news etc., computer ignores quotes that are unchanged, computer feeds us nyad/nydec data ONLY on stocks that tick up or down. PURE INTRADAY RAW DATA as it describes the mkt to us tick by tick… watch SPY try 2 mirror the green nyadv…

2 reversal bars are good enough for short. just no harm to wait for a confirmation because nothing is guaranteed.
