COLOR STUDY: TICK
After all those green-January closing Ticks, our Tick finally gave us a tiny red histogram Friday.
That was the biggest clump of green Ticks we’ve seen since Feb 2017 (pink box, the post-trump euphoria). When it finally printed a red histo on March 8, 2017, there was just a small pullback in SPY.
Too small a sample…. but needs to be watched … see how it closes today
Note that spiky clump of green Ticks in Feb 2018, which turned red on Feb 24-25, 2018 (a day before the crash), suggests caution at the least…

FT 71 full selling scenario for today was a slight up move at the open then a sell down, consolidation then then a sell off to 2635.25, consolidation, failed move up and a drop to the low of 2626. His point is those are the obvious levels to watch if the market is in a sell mood. One of his scenarios is dead on about once a week. Usually every week or two he starts out the next day by saying his prior day scenarios had zero relationship with what happened

Your not actually making fun of him? He is one of the best traders I have ever seen or met.

This did not register with me as as critical of FT71. It actually struck me as FT71 being humble and open to his scenario either not playing out as expected or possibly having played out but for reasons he had not contemplated (read lucky?)
