OK, this bull is crazy, so likely at least higher high ahead. The rising volume is the only concern though.

SUMMARY:

Range day and not wide so nothing interesting.

NOTE:

At this stage it looked like an uptrend day (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3310&p=265429#p265429).

The breakout didn't hold (I mentioned in the past, we must wait for the bar to complete before drawing any conclusions, following this rule then it should be easy to know that today's breakout was false), so by here it's clear that it's just a range day (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3310&p=265437#p265437).

The close was strong so gap up the next Tuesday?

Just for the same pattern, it can repeat frequently on the 5 min chart while on daily chart it may take months to appear once and another month to know whether the idea of trading such a pattern is right or wrong THIS time, so practicing on the 5 min chart is a fastest way to learn to trade.

• Day trading inevitably would have good days and bad days, it's a part of the game. If I always have good days, it means I'm either lying or already the richest person in the world (then why I'm still trading?), so please don't blame me for making any bad calls. The log is for myself only, not meant to be followed.

my two cents on HOD closed at overbought area. a correction is close. today is opex so a little crazy move to take out the PUT buyers, market profile shows un-finish business poor low.

Hope you're right about "HOD closed at overbought area. a correction is close". I'll observe this for awhile.
