off what level?

oil is forward indicator, and it's consolidated for the past 35 minutes...no bounce whatsoever.

Couple that with DeMark daily perfected sell setup and I had to break my own rules and chase the downside trade a bit. Can you share with me the DeMark sell setup? Where can I read more about it?

You can pick up most of the sequential and countdown stuff online for free at different sites. I only use sequential and countdown as trading evidence. I will try to find a simple explanation and pass it along. Kevin Depew at Minyanville does a terrific job of tracking DeMark Indicators (subscription only unfortunately).

thank you. I'll check out that book per your advice.

Cheers.

Wayne, cobra already said that he does not know at the moment. needs more data and a clearer pattern. At this point we will just have to go for 161.8% retracement from when this downward movement started.

Starting to wonder that myself, getting lonely in the bear camp.
That's a good contrarian indicator --- if you're alone as a bear, it might be time for the bears to come out of hibernation.
Joining u soon. Waiting for 10/20 to cross. :)

So far all indicators on my chart point to a down in the very short term of today.
Sounds good, gotta run to a meeting. Hope it doesn't breakout to upside while I'm 'working'
Took off without me...damnit.
Looks like I missed some fun, while my meeting ran over.
