SPY? That's a long way down!pady wrote:Wave 3 started. Target: 115.2 to 111.5 at a minimum.
yeah, was going to throw a couple k at GE. i think there's upward potential there as the expectations are so damn low. an in-line earnings would be feed for bulls to squeeze shorts some more in it. just a thought though, and again, like you, a total gamble.AK84 wrote:Watup J!jarbo456 wrote:hey ak84,AK84 wrote:This market is SOOO hard to trade esp with options....my god!!!!
profit here one minute ,...gone the next minute! Da Impossiblee!!
what earnings are you playing today?
Looking at getting in to some CMG puts....I like it to the downside but as Cobra said, the chart is pretty netural (daily looks slightlyyyyyyyy bearish with a H&S formation / Double top ) but its really a pure gamble.
Nothing else really. Im short AAPL, BIDU, PCLN
Thats pretty muh it. Trying to keep it tiny in this mad mad week designed to crush my premiums so i do spreads

Dutchy wrote:Hi Cobra & all,
First post here, learning a lot, thank you all.
Just checked what recently happened with SPY after previous Euro summits:
23rd June - next day red - there after strong run up to top of July 7th
21st July - next day doji - there after steep decline to low of August 8th
16th August - next day red - therafter quick decline to low of 19th
17th September - next day red - thereafter steep decline to low of 22nd
So, except for summit in June, last summits resulted in pretty steep declines of 3 to 11 days
Have a nice weekend!
Maybe I am a bit early. Might start tomorrow afternoon. We could be in just the B wave of this wave 2. So one more run to 1225 or so is possible. And this could be tomorrowPetsamo wrote:SPY? That's a long way down!pady wrote:Wave 3 started. Target: 115.2 to 111.5 at a minimum.

I told you it was a bulltrap. The down channel is still intact. Better to see it on ES chart.Cobra wrote:no good, failed breakout. the lesson here is AGAIN: NEVER EVER TRUST H&S PATTERN, IT'S THE PATTERN HAS THE MOST FAILURES!!!!!!!!!!!
