Wiener Math Magic

Simple Math

The total overall cap is 500 billion Euros
160 billion Euros has been spent
340 billion Euros remains
340 billion Euros + zero Euros = 940 billion Euros

Nice chart Pady, but your wave 3 is invalidated because it's shorter than wave 1.
When Wave 1 is extended, Wave 3 can be shorter. This usually happens after steep falls.
so you're saying wave 5 will be the shortest then?

Hello MrMiyagi, yup, MGM also on our “top short interest” list with 10% of outstanding shares sold short, and nice beta

Followed bullbear52x made me lost $70. Then I got lucky and got back and some change playing tvix. Then seeing it couldn't pass support so now I am sidelined. You should too and wait.

OH, i know who knows NYADV 2473
as usual, 5min sticks that CLOSE red cancels sqz alert, at this point spy still flirting w vwap
Thanks Al, nyadv stopped falling and that with the big 5min stick on spy made me trigger happy. Oh well still squeezed out a minor gain. The question is, how long can we stay in this sideways cage? I was thinking SPY had a decent chance of breaking out this morning, but it bumped off one of my fans and the upper Raff regresssion line. Raff reg is a great tool for quick auto channel drawing.

French Wieners

The FT reports that the French stock market regulator has told French banks to apply realistic assumptions to their Greek debt haircuts. Because through today, French banks only used the 21% agreed upon haircut at the July 21 (and even that number is likely greatly overstated). So where are Greek bonds trading now? Oh about 30 cents on the dollar (70% haircut) , which means at the end of the day French banks will see about three time more losses on Greek holdings than provisioned.

seekingknowledge wrote:Will do! Thanks for sharing. One question. It stays overbought or oversold for a long time with the 144,3,3 parameters. Do you wait for hits to the 20 line for going long or are you relying more on a bullish crossover with the signal line? I noticed it didn't quite make it down to the 20 line yesterday around the time that you bought TNA. Close enough perhaps...
I wait for three things:
1) Both the K & D MUST cross OVER the 20, AND
2) the 10MA must have jumped above the 20MA
3) looks like going to jump over high of last base (to make a higher-high). It is safer to wait for price to get ABOVE this high, but I take a chance and get in a few cents under the high ... and then ready to bail real quick if price starts moving down Look at the green line I drew on the chart posted earlier. This is entry. Let me know if you want me to re-post the chart, as I know it can be hard to go back and find.

Not sure why you didn't see stochastics make it down to 20. It actually went under (which is what I like). Check out the print screen again. Hope this helps.
Of course! I see it now. I was trying to recreate on my chart package and looking at SPY instead of TNA. Duh!

May I add 1 thing to this strategy? I am doing the same with 3-13-39.

You can use the 50EMA line as a guage of the trend. once 10 rollover aboved 20ema, but wait for 50ema to becomes positive value to be safe. :)

Positive value meaning the previous candle and the current candle has to have a 50ema increased in value. Cheers.

Hey that's not fair.
BulBear: I have to transfer my chart from another bot and change several display parameters...So, I would like to know if there is any interest for it. If yes, I would do it... That's all...
I am not interested in “popularity”. I am also busy, as you might imagine…
You know I value your charts A LOT no time no problem I will see you on the weekend hole.
Thank you BullBear! I take it as a compliment, from a great technical analyst.
By the way, I think that SPY is in a critical zone of “potential reversal”…
…and the reversal UP happened. But it is not convincing.
I am getting out of all long indices positions and shall stay flat over the weekend.

this is the perfect place to bait some shorts into the weekend. lull them into thinking this is a weak push up and then gap the hell up huge on sunday night... fuel for the fire. there's nothing bearish about this price action..

volume surge, a little lower low (kind like L2), so hopefully a pullback of some kind here, then we'll see.
