10/27/2011 Intraday Watering

Post by Cobra »

Wow, gap of life time, remind me of that 700B bailout idea. Anyway, believe or not, no point to fight the trend, let's see how market goes for the 1st hour.

Would my evil plan need adjust? Yes, definitely. But not kind of adjustment you think. From the chart you can see, it's still the 3rd push up, because it just touches the line used to identify the 3 push. Just the push up is way too strong, so normally at least another round of back and forth (pullback then rebound to test the high) is needed before a top could possibly be identified. The chart below illustrates the most bearish-bullish case, for direction only. Read the main cobra site under "Getting Started"->"FAQs"->"3 Push Up/Down" for the essence of 3 Push, it doesn't mean exactly 3, can be 5 or 6, the main character is push gets weaker and weaker, for now I definitely don't see it's getting weaker, so no point to fight here.

Good morning King Cobra: I found your amazon link on your front “Report” page, and ordered the Steve Jobs and other books from you. I am very sorry I didn’t see it yesterday; it was right there in front of my nose.

Also, thank u for your “evil plan”, your “evil laughter” and ALL of your brilliant insight

I won't think that way at least pretend to not think that way. If this gap gets filled, that'd be the end of the world.

Thanks. I just adjusted the Amazon links based on a feedback. So feedback is very useful. I'm glad I put "Contact Us" on the menu bar in stead of hiding at bottom like most web sites do. But I do know I could get bashed, so see how smart I am, I have someone else reading the feedback for me and filter out all those bashes (I need concentrate, cannot afford letting bashers to affect my mood).

This could very well be my last trading week in many years. Unless we see a monster selloff late today / tomorrow...

But we all know markets don't fall. LOL :)

Had fun while it lasted, at least it wasn't all my personal holdings.. only 15% and I'm very young.

considering that SPX 1250 was the balance point between bulls/bears for last 3 months. Not much buying on rumor, so it is unlikely to have sell on news.

i totally agree that your "pivot" around 1250 is important. however i beg to differ with you in that there wasn't "much buying on rumor". there was a healthy, continuous, and often sharp spikes of buying on rumor. that's how we got here technically.

i'm not confident that we'll be selling on the news as we're looking to potentially open 3% up, but it's pretty obvious that the technical levels we got to was done on a whole LOT of buying on rumor - that is if you follow any fundamental approach.
