I won't insist that target if I find more evidences.

Most of the arguments you listed up are already out of date, I think.

I do not understand your note. My note was rather a question, than a statement, and I just tried to understand why Cobra does not insist his 1000 target. Most probably, because the arguements supported the 1000 target are out of date, isn't that true, Cobra?

Al Dente, where would you recommend that someone learn about market "internals". Have been trading for a while, but must admit I'm not too knowledgeable on that subject. Thanks :)

Looks like an all day Bear squeeze out until 1,301. I get the feeling a slow boring grind friday until maybe the last hour.

I really don't understand why people so care about my target 1,000? Didn't I clearly say that we'd have multiple weeks of rally? In this case we should deal with the rally first then think about the 1,000 target later. So whether the 1,000 target is correct or not, doesn't really affect your trade. And since you seem so care about what I said, why you disregard my first line that says multiple weeks of rally, while instead focus on my 2nd line? I really don't understand. I keep adjusting my calls based on the reality of the very 1st step, I usually give 2 or 3 steps in advance, so as long as I make sure the very 1st step is mostly right, it'd be good enough for your trade, you really think whether the step 2 and step 3 are correct or not is that important?

Again, pay attention to the table. The long-term signal is down, so I have to respect that. The intermediate-term signal is crystal clear. And the evidences are crystal clear that I did say we'd see multiple weeks of rally.

They all look very highly correlated and from what I remember of your chart showing the correlations they are all 90% or better with the exception of JJC. The only difference is the magnitude of movement between them all. SO if you could somehow get a read on one of them maybe you would know the fate of them all? Kind of like one index to rule them all......

PS: am always lacking solid dirt on gold. Schwab research doesn’t chatter on any ETFs or commodities, and I don’t like to focus on solo gold miners, so I use FCX as a kind of metals proxy. U find solid gold links (no conspiracy theory), I will luv u… also, I luv FCX today….for another minute/hour

Bears choose what they like to read, that's called selective listening/reading.
if 1080-->1350-->1000
who fuckingly cares whether SPX 1000 is right or not if you can't stand the heat of the current rally

no trade today.
waiting to see FAS hit HH then to load some FAZ.
But market holds. In this way, all options will die hard.
The HT discussion hint, market could hold between bear (1100) and bull (1300) so that none could be released.

Petsamo, thanks for the information regarding close > open translates to 60% chances of a gap down (and reverse if the close < open). Do you have any links with info that confirm this?
