End of the month going into a holiday. No volume, news driven market. My guess is Goldman is doing what they do to keep options premium using Tim Cook's cash with the support of the FOMC and White House.

That little rally was short covering
It didn’t change the dial enough on the AD which favors bulls at 1.38x at the moment, and that is not strong enough yet for bulls
(but changes quickly)

I think bulls have failed. I think the only thing that could save us from the September swoon would be Trump announcing dinner plans in Beijing.
Next earnings season will be the third quarter of overall declines in the totals (NOT per Share) according to the experts. Sooner or later market has to catch down to bonds, because it is pretty clear bonds aren't interested in catching up to the market.
