1150-1167 could be bottom if it gets there. IMHO, I think the Vix is done for a while. Looking for Thanksgiving turn around/Christmas rally, if you're swing trading. It looks like we are in 4th wave up and then last wave down - if the count is correct.

nice. thanks

There could/should be another wave down from this bounce, but I'm too chicken to play it. I'll be switching into bull fund tue/wed.

Pls tell me Dow, as I don't know anything about clouds: does this mean that price rises to the upper edge of the cloud? Or is the whole cloud plain resistance? Thanks.

Europe and Asia are inside big daily and weekly short setups targeting below Aug.-Sept. lows. Italy, Spain, France, and Holland have confirmed those targets. Japan and India are already almost at those lows. Portugal is already below. Australia, Hong Kong, Germany and the U.K. still need to confirm (the latter 3 are 1-2% from doing so). Australia is the odd man out, but with the way PMs are performing again today, tomorrow could be a quick catch up day.

The U.S. is still inside its daily long setup (which, by inference, has obviously been broken hard on the rest of the indices mentioned above) in general finding support at the 50% and 61.8% levels.

With that kind of a background picture I wouldn't be too optimistic about a Thanksgiving rally. If the rest of the world doesn't see a washout reversal in the next couple of days (50/50 possibility), we might be talking about a Thanksgiving Day massacre come Friday.

when you have a wide and sloppy cloud in a trending day like today, then the whole cloud will act as resistance but if price did touched the cloud and closed above it before making a new low, then it means one of two possible case:
1- a new uptrend is born ( which is rare )
2- we just started a new flat trading range.

note : cloud is very good in following a trend and in spoting a trading range 8-)

Here another one for you Dr. AL, you like special MACD?

Baron von SmartyPants: I must admit that Friday when u called an ascending triangle in the middle of a red bear, it took me a 300% zoom and ONE FULL HOUR to find it. I’m just sayin’ that yr shite is remarkable and usually/not always leads, albeit sometimes way too early.
And perhaps u should cut/paste this note, ‘cause u might not ever see this compliment again.
However, it does not negate the fact that u have a butt-ugly avatar plus ugly dog.
According to the Friar’s Club by-laws: “We only roast the ones we love”.
PS: I LOVE THAT MACD :o
