If you didn't look at the Globex charts from last night where did the drop conveniently stop? Why a major strike of course.Sometimes it looks like the options market is running the futures market.

6000 tick volumetric shows those dip buyers pushing it up, then we coast untill they try for a second leg and fail, followed by the orderly sell off.Second row at bottom shows the delta on each bar, bottom row shows cumulative delta since open. That top line is volume, which is pretty much meaningless on a tick chart but I use it as a count down timer on the bars.

Tried to get above the trend line. Now the MA lines are about to cross, probably more down....

Man, if you were short, it was a good call. But, you have to be quick to take profits since the market will move back up in a hurry....

inside consolidation range, not easy to trade. trading out side this red box will tell if market is topping out or not, weekly is way overbought so pull back further will be reasonable.

60% chances of double bottom here.

Futures Trader 71 said overnight volume was 4 X normal. Noprmal is 10% of regular hours, so last night was equal to about a half day. The first drop took 3 minutes, then it slowed until the magic options number floor of 3350. FT71 commented that the European trading was a two way back and forth. Well they have about an hour left and the longs are looking good. I am thinking with the US session going nowhere I would be cashing out rather than holding for another hour. Especially given the recent history of the North American session. Time will tell.

I am sitting on hands waiting for new sell setup but doesn't look like market want to move either way right now.
