Big gap-down tomorrow?
A close at the lows gives a 60% chance of a gap up. Any of you bears wanna place bets for a gap down, go right ahead.

Some stops hit, half hedged. Other half likely to go on after close or tomorrow. Then, the Rally can start.
Lost some ground with the exposure this time around. He is a mean one Mr. grinch.
I'll be on the road tomorrow and will probably stay flat through the holiday and relax unless something juicy shows up.

Nobody seems to really be short...we can't even get the late day ramp job from shorts covering. My confidence in holding overnight is going to kill me tomorrow AM

No way it'll close on lows --- bulls coming with their signature kick save....

well, guess that's it for today. Overall, not so good for bulls as VIX is still too low. I sure hope that VIX is useless now. Thank you guys, I'll see you tomorrow. Again, tonight's reports will require membership to read.

SB73 wrote:My perspective is that this market needs a gap down and reversal. Right now the morning gaps higher are leaving too much weakness. I have been sitting short for 5 days now...far longer than I would like, but have not seen any signs of panic selling (especially something overnight). I may lighten some of the position with a sell off before close, but right now I am not seeing any signs of capitulation rather Santa rally hope.
Your right, selling volume has been unimpressive. But if the sellers don't show up, then the buyers may step in.

My plan is to cover early if there's a big gap-down tomorrow.
With big gap-up, wait 1-hr after open and see from there.
