If the market finished at here, I assume we will see an apparent - divergency.

I've got NYMO down a bit today but neutral. There is room to run down before breaking up-trend. There is room to run up before getting into overbought territory.

Today looks to be very range bound. The last 11 years would argue for a very small red day today followed by a small gap down tomorrow (9 out of the last 11). Historically tomorrow should be reasonably range bound as well.

That sounds reasonable based on current PA. Measured move up to 127.68... also a trendline up there.

If we break SPY 128 then I think we could close very strong.

This call appears to be holding up today. Unfortunately this call says that making money will not be easy. I am sitting on the sideline waiting and watching. Again odds favor a gap lower tomorrow with a green close although not a strong one. I may try an intraday trade on the long side tomorrow AM. Too risky holding a short overnight based on the magic mans ability to gap up with little to no retrace.

ATTENTION BOND FOLKS
Those of you looking for crossover MAs on bond charts as a signal to sell bonds/buy stock, may have been frustrated by our trusty “Stock/Bond Ratio” chart, which signaled THREE crossover whipsaw signals in the past three months [Caveat: the standard “Stock/Bond Ratio” is a traditional “Trend-Follower” ratio; the MA crossovers were Al Dente kool-aid, other folks use other MAs etc]

For whatever reasons, the ratio of short term gov debt (YIELD not price) to long term gov debt (YIELD not price) has over the last 14 years given only THREE valuable crossover signals.

Here’s the rub: the chart above DOES NOT YET show a “sell bonds/buy stocks” crossover (like the stock/bond ratio does, with its frustrating whipsaws).
I don’t understand this new ratio well enough yet, but the THREE signals given in the last 14 years cannot be ignored. I am just posting it here requesting comments from smart folks….
