I didn't take it the wrong way. I was playing what I thought was a statistical short term top. Obviously with the stop as tight as I had it I wasn't going to sacrifice a whole lot of capital. I deserved the spanking.jarbo456 wrote:sorry...didn't mean to sound like an ass...-_- not my style.SB73 wrote:Well the broker took the commission and got a few bucks off meSB73 wrote:I don't think bulls can clear 128.18...just initiated short on SPY with stop at 128.20. Agreed.waverider wrote:This is nuts...
No …It’s the Obama pumping $1Tr into the Housing mortgage market and “maybe” appointing a new Housing Tzar, while the Congress is in recess…BullTart wrote:Ok this is now looking like the big boiz got info earlier than everyone else again.
Bullish info for banks, precious metals and bad for euro.
Of course, we will only find out after the news is released.
Could be some ECB money printing news or something to that effect that may come out. That would make sense for rallying equities, precious metals, and a declining euro.
At around 11:20am today, the banks and precious metals exploded higher, on volume with no news.
That my friends is a sign that something is most definitely up.
I am thinking about a 180 target on GLD which would correspond with a low in the USD.cougar wrote:Yes, for gold...Al_Dente wrote:Per my usual answer to everything (when I’m not being a smart azz)cougar wrote:Yes, of course...Al_Dente wrote:PAGING COUGAR
Yes, I am arrogant too.
But I still hope we can be friends….
Watch those metals NOW! They got a second life..all at the same time..
I wonder: why?
Squeeze
I think u called for a bounce last week, no?
But it is stronger than expected...If GLD climbs above 158, I will have to look at a new target.
Perhaps this?BullTart wrote:Ok this is now looking like the big boiz got info earlier than everyone else again.

I like your new 2012 approach to colors. I am so glad that you are calling it "yellow" line. For a long time, you were calling it "orange" line.
Didn't you have a call to 1380 on Dec 30? Triangle breakup. Are you surprised?Cobra wrote:haven't touched EMA20 for so long, so if this pullback can reach EMA20, it's buy. guys, don't fight. let me tell you my story. I shorted in the morning, got stopped out with losses, well, it's happened lots of times, so no big deal, I covered and took a long. no matter what you believe, trading with pure heart. up is up, down is down. simple as that.

all I'm talking here are for intraday.ib612 wrote:cobra, is it an intraday buy? or has intermediate term outlook changed?
How can this be explained other than blatant maipulation?Cobra wrote:another overshot, so a consolidation here at least.
I can only imagine 1293 or perhaps 1310. I cannot see 1380 yet.gabor wrote:Didn't you have a call to 1380 on Dec 30? Triangle breakup.
