I'm neutral here. Hmm, on the 2nd thought, maybe the chart is a little bit bear biased.

SUMMARY:

FOMC day so all I did were talks. The market had a couple of up and downs so glad I just did the talk.

NOTE:

Right - called a range day here (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4211&p=287213#p287213).

Wrong - thought bears would be slaughtered today (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4211&p=287214#p287214).

Wrong - I did believe it's a bull flag (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4211&p=287219#p287219).

N/A - just a follow up saying it's not a bull flag anymore, reiterated it'd be a range day (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4211&p=287229#p287229).

N/A - just a talk (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4211&p=287238#p287238).

Wrong - thought bears would be slaughtered again here (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4211&p=287239#p287239).

Wrong although I was just mentioning the general case not officially a call - thought the pullback would be bought (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4211&p=287243#p287243).

Right but the rebound part was way too short than I thought - called 3 Push Up pattern here (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4211&p=287245#p287245).

Right - basically called break down more likely here (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4211&p=287247#p287247).

N/A - just a talk (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4211&p=287248#p287248).

The close.

DISCLAIMER:

The trading log above is meant for myself only which main purpose is to help improving my market sense.
  • My blah blah about how the market would go in the next dozens of minutes everyday in this forum, is a way to force me to focus on the market, because by speaking loud, if the prediction is wrong, I'd be embarrassed, which of course I'd like to avoid as much as possible.
  • Day trading is not my strongest point. Just for the same pattern, it can repeat frequently on the 5 min chart while on daily chart it may take months to appear once and another month to know whether the idea of trading such a pattern is right or wrong THIS time, so practicing on the 5 min chart is a fastest way to learn to trade.
  • Day trading inevitably would have good days and bad days, it's a part of the game. If I always have good days, it means I'm either lying or already the richest person in the world (then why I'm still trading?), so please don't blame me for making any bad calls. The log is for myself only, not meant to be followed.
