I still see exhaustion here, but again don't short stocks that keep having higher high, not worth the risk.

SPIKES!

I pointed out this seemingly recurring pattern (and I freely admit that I believe the machines are creating these as they are breaking many EW patterns) last week. Looking back six months I found that they needed to be about equidistant from the spike and depending upon time left in the day they could just continue to keep the low in and do one of three things:

1- gap higher and not close it the next day
2- gap lower and not get back to unchanged
3- put a little more of the pattern in the next day (slightly higher opening) and drop

I have no opinion of which one but we should be at least a point (10 SPX handles) from her by noon Tuesday. Perhaps Cobra has some stats on two consecutive gaps higher.

No new high on this peak so, $NYMO is not lying yet that consolidation/side ways action will be here for couple more days or week.

Senor Al, You seem like a candlestick guy. If we close on the daily here, I like the odds of the bears if they can get a gap or flat open on Tuesday. What do you think?
SB I can’t do “what if” close
All I kno is yr tight stop was good….good and tight…
I can only do now, as in: why couldn’t $TNX make a high instead of a double top just NOW, and WTF dollar, etc
I don't see any good setups right now...not a one.

CL is the only one i see mentioned around here besides ES (S&P 500 Emini Futures) so, learn those two and you're good to go!

nothing is wrong, de-coupling has been there for awhile.

ppl talked about re-coupling, seems rejected by the market.

Nice charts...yes let others move first. IMy philosophy is enter the party late and leave early. I know it is boring, but whatever.
