Dr,
The chart doesn't show up very well for me.

TVIX better obey the 5 period EMA (see chart). Love the music.

1357.91 is a very important level that is 38.2% of wave1+wave3. If this is broken, we level up to 1364.27 which is 50% and finally if for some crazy reason that didn't do it, we level up to the final bus stop which is 1370.62 which is 61.8% of wave1+wave3. If 1370.62 don't do it, I blame Ben Bernanke for scamming me, hehe...

As best I can tell, we have never done so from an extended set up - we have broken out after being down significantly prior to opex - best recent example that I could find was July 2008 - but we had been down relentlessly prior to that opex and bottomed on the Tuesday of opex and took off for a few more weeks....

The only thing I checked was when the high of opex week was on the Friday.... went back to Jan 2007.

PLX - time to get in on them with the stock offering IMHO (I own them and have for a while).

@ 5.40?
Sorry, my charts are not as sophisticated as everyone's here, but yes, $5.40 or better on them. Think of the company as a very young Genzyme.

btran874, do you consider 1360 as decisively broke if it can make 1360 instead of 1364?

If I remember correctly, if we finish at HoD, aren't the odds better we gap down?

I trade based on this. 25% at 1357, 25% at 1364.27 and 50% at 1370.62. There's another level 78.6% not visible on the chart which stands at 1379 and I will have to use margin if it gets there. Beyond that, go take a vacation and lick my wounds.

Dont know why, but I gotta feeling that todays action from MM is simply to shake off bears and to trap bulls

P.S: just my feeling no position overnight except "long-term" shorts

Thanks all

Nice one thanks, I “borrowed” it
She might pierce upper bolinger? First time since October?
Or touch upper bolinger first time since Nov?
Both times she fell back

As I've said over and over, do not follow me. This is purely for entertainment purposes only.

All I'm doing is just talking about what I'm doing. In no way am I telling anyone to do anything.

Having said that, I am going to hold TVIX overnight.

Remember, I am a crocodile and can stomach huge % drops because I've accumulated large profits from earlier action.

One more slightly higher high on the SPY, which we are very close to putting in and then the jig is up.

If we blast higher from here and tack on another 20 handles on the S&P, I'll eat the loss.
