hdenandy-- Drawing the WW as you proposed would have made the point 5 overthrow really big! On the way back down, the points you asked about will probably come into play with line 1-6 possibly indicating support/resistance. Hope this helps.

Daily VIX$ is too strong for me to be Bullish per my charting. it has to drop below 19.52 at the current reading to get me say MOW again.

Fib 38.2 retracement. But anyway, big picture, I don't see lower low yet, so I'll assume the chart is not bearish. Granted, either bull or bear should be careful here, the market itself is clueless. Just remember, an important top is reversal of reversal of reversal. Let's see how many reversals we'll get this time.
