The up move is replete with these occurrences. They are stop getters. It is what it is and it is what they are programmed to do. I'm not sure who to thank for this.
Swalsh...totally agree this is bullshit at its finest, but I must place the cards dealt and the cards are saying short this sunny beach.
Well that was a short signal. This lack of freedom of true market capitalism is a sign of the times. Crime that used be screamed about against specialists and floor brokers is now institutionalized and assisted. Guys were suspended for life for these activities in the past as well as fined and prosecuted.

6 min to go, hopefully a little rebound to close like what it has been doing for the past Fridays... The AH usually up sharply by the way.

I guess in a year or so we will be reading articles on how many guys from the State Department went to work at Apple.

Eric Blair....he gave us far more than Einstein ever did as he gave us a look into the future, and it is here. In fact, Einstein hastened its arrival!

Swalsh,
Do you have any example set ups to counteract these occurances? I feel that if you can recognize these moves while they are happening, you have some advantage over others just doing regular TA. If you id and chart the magnitude of these moves on avg maybe you would know when to step in, so you too, can make out like these pirates.
Flip that coin.

Legal note:Don't believe anything I say above. You may lose yourA$$..
My chart has Daily Elders (Close, High, and Low), MA-2, CCI, and ATR for each stock; all color coded.
