I like your response that gap has been filled by the p bar because if that is true it takes so much hope and imagination away from mad cowsdr659 wrote:Just cracked open a 24 oz Heineken ( It was on sale) when was the last time you had one of them?

If you look at this same chart on a slightly larger time frame (this or GDX), IMHO it looks like a bear flag. (Plus -- gap fill on Wednesday/Thursday followed by no follow-through.)
As long as the gap of 133 is survive on the down side, Bulls should be OK.Petsamo wrote:There are all sorts of gaps downstairs tooBullBear52x wrote:Talking gaps.

I don't want to divulge my entire background on the Internet, but let me just say that I am, in most areas regarding trading, a credible witness. I am also prone to smacking people who pee on my leg and tell me it's raining. The Indian guy, or wherever he is from, has likely come to the states, sees an entity, makes a good living, and to him it means money. The cavalier attitude when he tells the white guy he is wrong is the poker tell as to his allegiances, which are purely financial. The white guy has said EXACTLY what I have been saying here. I can easily speak of economics, have some economists (real PhD) friends, and they agree with my points. They are destroying the capital forming base of this system. Now, let's see if that video is available Mondaygap up wrote:This was funny! http://video.cnbc.com/gallery/?video=3000089795&play=1SWalsh wrote:WOW....well let me say this much.....for those who have been struggling with the markets, when they curtail these machines you should have much better ways of defining your "edge", which is when you should be trading. This has been a disgrace to see what these machines have been doing. And despite the NYSE requesting some requirement be made to leave a bid/offer in the system, the SEC replied, "We'll monitor for abuses".
