I always suspected that Merkel-Turtle was the Manchurian Candidate placed in W. Europe!

It's very smart actually.
I think the polling says a slight majority want to stay with the Euro, they just don't want to pay the tab.
So if they did vote on it, it wouldn't matter which party was in power - they'd have to do Germany's wishes.

At least the people would decide, and not some crazed ideologue .

A very devious plan if you ask me.... and brilliant (since it'd happen within weeks of all the money running out, and people wouldn't be getting paid right as a vote shows up).

i am reading currency position report. i think in general, speculators are closing long USD. i guess this is the reason caused the 3:00 movement.

add: don't get me wrong. long USD is still largest in recently years.
