aapl is still too early to say whether the 2nd leg up has started. http://stockcharts.com/public/1684859/c ... /260183775;nicha wrote:Cobra - AAPL looking really good. I am assuming this is the leg up you were looking for from last night's report? Is your target from 7/11/12 still intact?

I am with ya, SPX is in Triangle. daily bullish bias so me thinks the selling will be bought.MrMiyagi wrote:NYADV is getting a little too high to my liking; might signal short term profit taking/reversal on Monday.

You're welcome. Enjoy the aapl trade as you know the aapl trading system would do today, don't you? Good luck with that.nicha wrote:Cobra - thanks. Really appreciate your input.

X typically has a great day on days like today, but today, X is draggingMrMiyagi wrote:NYADV is getting a little too high to my liking; might signal short term profit taking/reversal on Monday.
I see. Why didn't you take profit yesterday? Now it's really hard to say. Frankly, I kind read the chart bearish as it could be just a bear flag or partial rise in a broadening wedge therefore is bearish. But it's not strong conviction therefore I say: wait and see.nicha wrote:Unfortunately I have a large position of August $610's...kinda thinking about selling half or covering here.

If you have made money on these calls you might want to sell; they are too close to expiry that a 7-10$ down day will chew up a fair bit of it that will not come back.nicha wrote:Unfortunately I have a large position of August $610's...kinda thinking about selling half or covering here.
I think he means PUT?MrMiyagi wrote:If you have made money on these calls you might want to sell; they are too close to expiry that a 7-10$ down day will chew up a fair bit of it that will not come back.nicha wrote:Unfortunately I have a large position of August $610's...kinda thinking about selling half or covering here.
You could sell enough to cover all your buying and commissions and let the remaining ride.
That's my opinion, I always prefer to take profits than dream about Ferraris.
