looks like upside break last hour to me though - if I had to bet (and I already have!) I'd bet we close above 1301 8-)
Move higher now will be better shorts entry, move lower now can trap more shorts. best benefit to the house is move down first a day or two, then GAP! yes, we can GAP to the infinity and beyond.

MY crystal ball tells me we are open lower or gap down around 5dma, make bears happy and a little bit lower at the close. Thursday Nuke leak is plugged, ME went back to the voting booth for new leader, all loving american running in the field of flowers and hand feed the deers. Good day all, I done what I need to do today. expect lower tomorrow.

Thanks Cobra and everyone here.

What a boring tape.
Not sure who benefits the most, but it sure has become a very difficult trading environment when you have to place overnight bets and wake up to bang or bust results..I am tired of losing large chunks of $$ to opening gaps, and have to work very hard to have the patience to let a few good trading days pan out in the regular session..perhpas there is a better way, like ES futures?

Here is the Turn, at least a warning for the Bears that the greed is back. bottoming or sideways action in the making. The long date MACD has turned. Bye now.

There is nothing wrong with being on the sidelines. Also, you may want to focus on swing trades for awhile if and when a suitable set-up appears in your charts. I take positions and let prices ride but many here appear focused on intra-day stuff. I guess the best rule is to do what you're comfortable with.

Thanks. I have always wanted to swing trade, but it is a lot harder. You need fairly wide stops to play that game, and I just don't trust the criminals. If you have some strategies, I would be very appreciative, like do you work with fibs, daily trend lines, indicators, whatever..

even if this breaks down it's not likely to go below 1290 before a significant bounce...
