I wouldn't be too worried about the long term implications of after hours overlap on a 5 minute chart with a move from less than 2 hours prior. But then again, it's curious why you don't call the wedge upmove an overlap with the move in the 2 hours prior to that, because that's what it is. As is the large upmove EOD. You can't pick and choose your overlaps, but again, those are only very short term. Plus it's not even really overlapping, it's just touching, unlike the prior 2.
