Please, again, all my calls in the daily live update is for intra-day only, they're absolutely invalid when the closing bell rings. If you're interested in the forecast for days and weeks, Please subscribe my Daily Market Report.

I'm very busy during the trading hour, so your question posted on board might not be answered. For a guaranteed answer to your question please send email to info@cobrasmarketview.com.

Gap up above yesterday's high so the gap might not be filled.

Global ES looks good, a breakout to Fib 76.4% Measured Move target, hope it's real, let's see. Even the breakout is sold, NORMALLY there'd be a 2nd leg up to at least revisit the previous high. So overall, not bad for bulls.

Momentum Block:
Equities mostly bullish but currency markets are showing some weakness. SP500 futures just broke out of what may be regarded as ascending triangle. SPY is to follow? :geek: :ugeek: :geek:

GM all, finally we have a movement I think this is the wave 3 of last push up before correction

I thought XIV will be early bird as always but not showing weakness yet (will short more higher  )

Morning russell chart

Now we are clearly in wave 3

looking to short after 5 waves up as I said  viewtopic.php?f=2&t=797&p=113584#p113584

Good luck soldiers!

Fairly rare event here - a significant gap up on Opex Thursday has only occurred 3 times in the last 3 plus years - most recent one was LAST JANUARY - it was a GAP and GO and we went on to briefly top on the Monday post opex.

Nov 2010 and May 2011 were the other two instances, but those were gap ups from oversold positions. - Though the gap up in May 2011 ended at 9:56am and marked the opex top and we fell very hard till the Wed post opex....

We may also trigger an hourly sell signal - which on Opex Thursdays is a decent signal.... last one was last December.... there was also one in May 2011 ....

There have been 5 of them in the last 4 years... Dec 2012 (topped on the Thursday and fell hard), Sep 11 - different market, but we did not top in SPX till the Tuesday after and then fell hard, May 2011 (as above), 15-Oct-09 (fell on Friday - bounced on the Monday after and that marked the top until 2-Nov-09) and 16-Apr-09 - we topped the next day and then fell very hard on Monday and Tuesday.....

Presents a few different possibilities, but supports the view that we will top between today and Tuesday and then fall hard.....

The last 12 years didn't coin many bulls, some might not recall that a bull can be quite persistent - I'm thinking of 1995/2000.
