Post by Cobra »

If you're StockCharts member, please do me a little favor by "vote" and the most importantly "follow" my public chart list HERE. You need "follow" only once but vote can be done everyday, so whenever you have time, please vote for me, thanks! If you're not StockCharts member, you can also help boosting my rank by clicking the link once everyday.

Please, again, all my calls in the daily live update is for intra-day only, they're absolutely invalid when the closing bell rings. If you're interested in the forecast for days and weeks, Please subscribe my Daily Market Report.

Personal attack on any board members won't be tolerated. Please limit your topic to trade related only.

I'm very busy during the trading hour, so your question posted on board might not be answered. For a guaranteed answer to your question please send email to info@cobrasmarketview.com.

Flat open, so any gap will be filled.

The Rising Wedge is clear on Global ES. It's bearish in theory but like divergence, you never know how long a wedge/divergence can last, besides, you can always draw a bigger wedge when a smaller wedge is broken, so I'd only consider wedge as minor bearish factor.

FOMC rate decision announcement on 2:15 PM ET, roller coaster show thereafter, after that, anything is possible so better wait and see mostly.

I see nothing wrong on DAX yet. Big green bar followed by a few days consolidation is normal, not necessarily bearish.

Gold is up $17 today. I'm not excited about gold until it breaks above $1700 and holds above there.

I worked for CHK as an independent landman for several years. They were great at obtaining resources but terrible at controlling costs.

CHK had the bad wrap of bidding up prices for leases everywhere they went.

Does anyone have a direct link to the NYSE page where they report Margin Debt regularly? PLEASE SHARE the link if you have it, thanks

Yesterday, zh reported : “According to the latest NYSE margin debt data… December …margin debt … rose for the fifth consecutive month …[to] $331 billion - the highest since February 2008, when the market was declining, and back to the levels from May 2007 when the market was ramping ever higher to its all time highs which would be hit 3 short months later, and just as the subprime bubble popped”

Did you run around offering people $$$ for the oil/gas rights to their land? Sounds like a cool job (minus the travel).

Nah. I was more of an office / courthouse guy. I ran the records and compiled the paperwork but when I was in Shreveport, LA, the most that I ever saw for lease bonuses was $20,000 per net acre. I did see and hold several checks over $1 million for lease bonuses. It was surreal seeing checks over a million.

Million dollar checks wow. Makes me wonder how much money they are pulling out of the ground.
