I sent this in an email to someone asking me about Gold and Silver and whether we would see a huge spike in Gold in the future, If you go back and check out past behavior regarding the 1980 surge you can see the following:

My opinion is that if SLV can hold above the $20.50 high it made in 2008, then prices can rally higher for a final peak...

Check out the chart below, there was a high made in May/June of 1968, that price was tested again around August of 1976...there was no price overlap, so prices headed higher into the peak of 1980.

In April 1980 Silver went below the last high made in April 1974, that price overlap signaled to the market that we had seen the high, so price tried to go higher, but then it collapsed...

The question is "have we seen the peak already?"

I believe we "COULD" be in a similar situation where silver will be testing that last high made at $20.50.....if the price overlaps..we have seen the high...if price does not overlap, then there is a possibility for one more spike....

So, it's possible we test that $20.50 level...how it plays out, I am sure nobody knows...

But if you study Gold and the past history of the market Gold collapses 2 years before the Bull market run begins....that is most likely to begin somewhere around 2018, so my opinion is that we most likely have one more chance at a high into around 2016 before we see a collapse...but $20.50 in SLV needs to hold in my opinion....

Turn dates.. LOL.

I have a crystal ball for sale too.

Jokes aside, don't waste your time with those "turn date" predictions, they're always valid... until that "date" passes and nothing special happens.

before you just dismiss someone's methodology, perhaps a bit of data to back up your position would be in order. You just dismissed a highly regarded member of this forum.

Turn dates don't work, huh? Here is what I sent someone in a PM the other day:

"So, now that we see this spike down tomorrow...looks like it will bottom on the 19th sometime...

We could get a bounce on Weds"

To each their own.
I can't tell you how many people in the past have pooped on pBars and eventually shut their yaps.

It's all part of the package.
