Have I convinced myself???

Holding long.

Well, there is no guarantee we see a lower low on XIV when we see lower low on SPY or Dow...but my charts indicate open lower or lower in the morning then rally intraday...could get a higher low??

But the move down intraday then late day rally was clear on my chart today, I am considering that tomorrow is correct as well...Weds looks negative again...looks more like a gap down and more selling intraday...

Thank you for this generous information, Trader Girl. I have tomorrow as positive and Wednesday as negative, but do not have your ingredible intraday move indicators. I often lose out because of those intraday moves. $VIX and I are old friends and I think it wants to visit the $15.60 to $15.70 again. Might just cash in profits, as I am suppose to do that anyway, something about birds in my hand and birds in the bush.
