Yes, his are special..joeynickels wrote:The Miyagi bar can only be seen by MiyagiTraderGirl wrote:I think everyone sees that p-bar...not so special if others have it...joeynickels wrote:Hark! Do I spy a Miyagi bar to 160.10?
Thanks so they are data errors? Or do you believe they are some type of signal to the large institutions showing their intentions to move the market in that direction.
i guess its the game they play with us small penny pinchers! still learning the game and trying to find a direction. Cobras does a great job as do a few others. anyone know of any 'free' sites or blogs. They all want money in the end. i found swingtrader.tumblr.com and stockporn.blogspot.ca and the-lazy-trader.com all provide cool insight in the market although Cobras is still the best.joeynickels wrote:Perfect close. I've noticed that it's not always reliable if I have them on my system...sometimes they get filled sometimes not...yours seem to be much more reliable...MrMiyagi wrote:The fact that it can be seen on most everyone's broker's platform makes it all the more powerful.I think everyone sees that p-bar...not so special if others have it...
At least that is MY theory!!
I won't be surprised at all if its a HFT signal of some sort. If it makes money then its worth the effort. Its nice to see HFT collaborating! LOLMrMiyagi wrote:We see these come up mainly on SPY IWM QQQ and DIA as well as some stocks like AAPL IBM and others.
Although we don't know the exact source, we have debated this a million times before, commonly we believe they are the HFT trading machines slipping up and "showing"their hand, so to speak.
Usually these price tags get hit within 10 days and the stock or ETF's price will then rest or turn around from the targets they point to.
Don't use any of these pbars as analysis!! They are somewhat predicative but have zero timeline; they can happen the same day, next day or never. I'd say they are about 70% accurate, as in they get hit that often.

Not sure if i agree with you on that. I'm not talking about finding a site that pumps out stock picks and follow blindly. I'm talking about education. I find very few provide little if any education or insight into their trading systems. Cobra does a great job in explaining things and what possible scenarios are and his rates are supper cheap in comparison. I found a few gems that really are free. the-lazy-trader.com is a spread trader and forex. swingtrader.tumblr.com uses a weird scanning system to look for demand and supply cycles and stockporn.blogspot.ca if probably the one with the most personality and insight into trading with volume and price.C520 wrote:You get what you pay for....thanos wrote:i guess its the game they play with us small penny pinchers! still learning the game and trying to find a direction. Most pay for themselves with a successful trade. Just gotta pull the trigger.
