The (very short easy read you should just do it now) article ends saying junior gold miners are a category that have been beaten down this badly. Wondering if anyone has been brave enough to make the plunge? Mostly just trying to get a discussion going as I have not analyzed the components of GDXJ to see if there are any real solvency concerns. Maybe someone has already done this analysis? Sorry if this belongs in the Investor side of this site......

Key time, we've reached the lower box resistance of 1612 which is also the 20EMA daily. The upper box res is 1620

Trade the trend until it doesn't work, good luck

Partial Short.
I got chicken yesterday and called an audible. Covered 75% of short.
Given yesterday's PM action and with quarter end coming, it looks like portfolio managers are want to mark up.
So, I am trying to avoid some drawdown and to reload at a better price.
I reloaded 25% with this morning's pop. So, 50% partial now.
I'll layer more with higher prices or time if the data doesn't change my mind...

My summation index signal is down. There is an interesting dichotomy. The signal could turn up for the S&P as soon as tomorrow, but it reaffirmed the down condition for the R2K.
I'll wait for some follow through if I get an up signal on the last day of the quarter as window dressing is a false trigger.
My composite trend indicator signal remains down. There is a lot of technical damage to repair before this turns up.

I am working with the view that the down trend will reassert itself in the days ahead probably some time after quarter-end.
If the low is in, and we're headed to new highs, this trade is a loser.
