Cisco (CSCO) update: Cisco put from earlier didn't fare so well using Call Volume signal. However, CSCO continues to creep up but OBV is not confirming the trend. Anyone know how reliable OBV divergence may be??

Boss what does cabbage mean?
Sometimes I have a hard time understanding your charts and abbreviations… they are very sophisticated…
I mean…. the newbies might have a hard time
Could u pls do some “plain english” to help out newbies

When you use OBV, you need to have an overlay parameter for that such as SMA 50 to see how far it is from the line. I used it for a while but it wasn't a great market direction for the stock. I found out that looking at three parameters in Daily, hourly, 15 mins and for daytrading 5 mins chart are the best. I did not find OBV as a great parameter for the stock direction.

This bull flag thing is just a guess as I drew in the trendlines yesterday so I'm not as confident so just used the daily.. just trying to think about the possibilities.

Well I've explained it so many Friday's before I figured that it was taken as read !
(I'm not sure if you're asking for you or for lurkers - but I figured anyone who was interested would ask )

Cabbage = narrow range choppy day
Caret day = upside down V
V day = like the letter, an LE an HE and a LE
LE = Low end
HE = high end
no go zone = no entry recommended for a trade as you are not 6pts from either the HZ or LZ
HZ= high zone = estimated high -/+1.5pts for error of estimate
LZ= low zone = estimated high -/+1.5pts for error of estimate

anything else just ask!
NTA = not trading advice!!!!!!!!!!!
