I think he still owns a large quantity of the stock, he only sold part of it...
According to Yahoo, as of 2011 he had ~10M shares and recently sold 1.8M
All CEO's with 10 million shares sell yearly, he is not dumping it as you state.
Appears from history, that since August he has been selling at a very high rate (compared to past years) - maybe it's the Tax man that cometh in 2013?? :o

Bull Flag Breakout.jpg
The only thing that could put a damper on this rally is a backtest of the rising wedge (a touch and go). This is the reason that I say to be careful around 1430-1435 on SPX. :D Just want everyone to be safe trading.

Cobra, one stupid signal is not enough to change the winning strategy, is it?

Well, the most important thing I learned here on this board is to trust the trend... So for me that guy's comment was like a kind of a pullback in a healthy upside move - this blog "has legs" indeed, thanks to you and other active members! :-)

Greetings from Sweden!
Thanks.

by the way, now everyone knows my sentences:

This bull/bear has legs.
This kind of consolidation favors bulls/bears.
Target met (but rarely when the target fails, I said anything about target failed ;) )

Anything else I often say? Maybe bears/bulls no fight? Maybe please vote for me? Maybe thank you guys, I'll see you tomorrow.

Cobra, I am a stingy bastard. That I wrote you a check is testament to your value alone. Keep doing what you do.

"On strong up usually first touch of EMA 20 is a buy"
That actually from AI Brooks. I might be wrong, but the strategy seemed not working well recently, a few faked strong up day ruined yet. Hope today is not the day. Usually when first pullback to EMA20, if buy failed, I do notice that day is a faked strong day.

Thanks for the MHN suggestion, but no thanks.
If the 5-year chart doesn't scare you, the 6% dividend yield ought to disappoint you. As you can see from the last three months of dividends, it's starting to decline. "Muniholdings of New York" ought to really scare you. I'll stick to my 13.9% dividend yield of PHK.
the 5 year chart? please explain - what exactly do you see that's verifiably bearish
It's vulnerable to gravity, like TLT.
jarbo456 wrote:it's a 6% dividend in a tax free environment in a space that has ridiculously low default rates
Is the tax-free environment applicable to non-NY residents?
jarbo456 wrote:i'm not particularly scared of NY paper, it may not be the best, but it's certainly far from the worst.
You just stated it's "non-government/corporate fixed income". Now, you're saying it's NY paper.

SPY pullback at 142.68 this morning was close enough and very nice up thereafter

Possible....we'll see if they get a deal this week...doubt it...

Dow support around 13,000...backtesting broken support?
