Equities actually seem comparatively gentle to me at the moment.

The moves in currency (yen, euro) and metals in particular seem violent to me the last few days.
There is internet chatter about very massive positions being unwound, which would make sense.

Perhaps when the knife wielders have finished flaying their victim(s), these markets will settle down.
However, moves like this suggest that landscapes may be shifting. More to come.

good point regarding the moves in currency. on a relative basis the SPY moves are muted. That said, if you look at SPY today, or the last few days for that matter, the reversals have been pretty sharp.

BTW, the "buy" orders are starting to pick up on the SPY, so maybe we won't drive lower, but who knows?

now the bias is up. could be an ascending triangle in the forming. Friday, usually closes strong, so bulls got a little bit better chances here.

Moves in currency landscape are imo mainly because of Yen, there is big printing coming in Japan soon

Here is one that in mid Dec would have been a good buy but my mind was on the bearish side way to much. This is what can happen when you get to one sided. No mater how long one has been trading this type of mental state seem to happen. :) :)

I should've said I've been looking forward to seeing this all day. Which is the absolute truth. I can't wait for this week to be over. I've been all sorts of wrong this week.

a red candle today will look good for bears, A hanging man candle will have a chance, but seeing low of day will be a bless.
