Despite an attempt by bears and the mass media to convince the public that the market is "too optimistic", the facts simply don't support such assertions.

The 50 day average of the ISEE equity put/call ratio is running at 150 right now, which means 1.5 equity calls for every put among retail investors (this calculation excludes firm trades and market maker traders, which is the flaw of CPC, CPCI and CPCE).

This is the same level as March/April 2009. Will investors bet that sentiment is too optimistic and sit out, or will they eventually have to scramble to get long, before it's too late?
