The character of the market has definitely changed!

I looked back at large UP Thursdays on the day before opex when we were in a bearish to semi bearish market and coming off of a low.... there were NO BIG DOWN days on opex day..... we truly are dealing with a market whose character has changed OR we will have a MASSIVE rally.

Me???

Daily 8EMA accelerated bear train dude. keep it simple. Above ES 1885= intraday bull, below = get on the bear train

Moved shorts stop to guaranteed profits at 1876.50. Should roll to 1860 if this is real bear train as acceleration phase then 1850..etc

Tradingview SPX500 CFD ~/ES like.. super ugly bear view.. . yellow neckline.. 1820.. weak RS bounce to 1882 then target 1500 SPX take it with a large dose of doubt.. but just pointing out.. (Cyan H&S target you ask? .. cringe.. 1350 )

Given the high was last May.... I sense it is no longer a bull..... maybe not a true bear yet, but certainly a market that is in transition.

In all the LARGE MOVES over the last 20 trading days, only today looked like this:

Since I found myself on the wrong side of the market last week, I have been largely on the sidelines.
To far gone for me to swing short and no signal to swing long.
I did dabble to catch a low Wednesday and yesterday. Hard to fight temptation...
A resistance level posted by Unique proved useful to me Wednesday night. Thank you.
I got some profit on a scale yesterday, but the balance was stopped out flat overnight.
Flat at the moment.

As of this morning, NYMO has reached the oversold zone.
So, there should be a bounce soon.
Unfortunately, when NYMO spends this much time down this low,
the forward outlook is to make further price lower lows (after a bounce or consolidation) in the days ahead with a positive NYMO divergence to make the ultimate bottom of the trend.
One historical exception to this was December 2011, which popped higher and stayed higher. As others have noted 2011 as an analog for this move, it is worth mentioning.

In any case, I am planning to be patient on a swing (maybe February will be time to be long) and take a day trade here and there while volatility is high.
