“Please don’t estimate the impact of a lower corporate tax rate and assume all else equal,” Peter Boockvar, chief market analyst at Lindsey Group, wrote in a note Wednesday. “A 1.5 percent Libor rate is obviously very low, but the rise in rates is happening on a historically large pool of debt.”

The recently hot transports seem to be stabilizing. AM session RS laggard, but now gaining steadily in RS thru the day. One of the few sectors moving from early pressing of lows to now near an intraday high.

Tax bill: gov will force you to sell FIFO [first in, first out]
eg: you sell some of your AAPL. Gov says u have to sell the 1992 lot u bought at $1, NOT the lot u bought this year or a while back…

If FIFO stays then we could get a lot of tax selling and charity donations end of the month from the specific share identification crowd. No holiday for the tax accountants this year!
