Bounced off the S4 pivot. Happened earlier this year and I made a remark about never seeing those 4 level pivots in play. In my best Mae West impersonation 'Well hello there volatility'.

Pretty much everybody saw the H&S forming on 60 min (I posted my little chart with target 2800)
So if everybody sees it everybody thinks it won't work and that's why it works.

I did not even take a small position, just one contract.
I guess it's called not acting on one's own prediction. Hard for me to overcome panic state of mind just thinking of holding a position overnight.
Seriously have to work on this

@AnthonyCrudele did a nice periscope couple hours ago further outlining his idea he explained 2 days ago.
Both bonds and stocks started to go negative = was a sign for him to get off the long train (plus his own indicators based on 60min charts)
His ES levels: above 2835 - go long again
Downside target (almost there in the meantime) 2768. Once at that level he will re-evaluate situation.

So Bank of America was the only big house to say now, as opposed to soon, as far as I saw. There target was 26 something, which looking at fehro's chart means a complete reversal of the January parabolic rise. While this kind of selling should lead to a gap down Monday I can't think the Fed will let this market continue to drop this fast.

For the truly courageous, or just foolish, from Teddy Valley's twitter feed
Since 1990 when the $SPX has lost more than 1.5% on a Friday, Monday saw a lower low 89/ 92x = 96.7%

cats: i luv u but i'm calling bullshit on just about everything BofA says; they've been wrong for 1+ year; now they're bragging about how "right" they were friday

headlines are blaming this last leg down on Kaplan:
*KAPLAN SAYS CONCERNED TAX CUTS WILL LEAVE U.S. MORE LEVERAGED
*KAPLAN: IF WE WAIT TO SEE ACTUAL INFLATION, WE'LL BE TOO LATE
*KAPLAN: BASE CASE IS FOR 3 RATE HIKES IN 2018, COULD BE MORE
[zh: This is the market's biggest single-day drop since Brexit.]

Isn't that how the prediction biz works ? Half calls in one direction the other half in the other direction. Then point out the calls which were correct and bury the wrong ones.

Week at a glance (~hour before the close)
Last Friday I noted: “Both aggressive and defensives are above the zero line this week, that’s a bit unusual.” (I didn’t say: “Why are the defensives way up there?”)
This week all are below….............

On B of A, yea their head strategist has been off. But this wasn't him, this was an indicator the quants came up with, so when Chief Investment Strategist BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research. Michael Hartnett is the author don't read it. But if the quants in the back room have something, well that could be different! Sort of like Goldman where you always have to peel the onion. :D
