ES 2640 is the balance point today. It is also towards the the top of the overnight trading so most of the London/Frankfurt crowd is green for the day if they played the long side. Shorts made book following the usual rules of closing out an hour before the New York open, (ES 2577) as that seems to be a second overnight low more often than not.

Why Canadian ?

RRSP and TFSA are allowed to hold US$ stuff.

RBC and ThinkorSwim Canada (which is owned by TD).

Not sure which other Canadian brokerages allow US market stuff inside registered accounts.

Follow up on FOMC's Bullard. His speech this morning was a nothing burger and his comments were essentially what do you expect from an overbought market.

Third whack at 2624 from above in 15 minutes. My software says that is the bottom of the 1 standard deviation zone around the Point of Control today.

SMH was an early leader in the broad explosive rebound. Now SMH is again approaching the 100 level--this time from below, as resistance.
