If the $VIX had a theme song, it would probably be the “Tango Maureen” from “Rent.”
[He: “It’s hard to do this backwards.” VIX: “You should try it in heels”].
Right now she’s doing her best BULL FOR SPY dance, but that little tramp can spin on a dime and change the whole show if she cares to.

Nice chart, what keeping me bearish bias to this point is many short etfs I followed still green, EDZ, FXP, SRS, FAZ,...and TZA is now back in RED but not that weak.
My comments are for entertainment/educational purpose only. NOT a trade advice.
My first post. First off must admit I am a huge Cobra fan. You are the best, funny, even tempered, and probably extremely good looking with women dying to touch you. My take on the market for what it is worth. Early Sept 8% drop followed by a 70% retracement. Next we had a 6.0% drop for which a retracement of 65% has been achieved over a 3 day time frame. Charts are eerily similar to those which would beg for a nasty reversal tomorrow through early next week. The best set up for a bear from what I can see is a black candle close today. somewhere around 118 to 188.25 would be best. An agressive push higher or lower today will remove this possibility.

Interesting, BullBear! I think that the IWM chart illustrates “deliberate market engineering” - like the “creation” of a congestion zone, followed by an impulsive BUY….. There are two series of events that activate this process: on one hand, the speeches of Bamby and Tim and on the other hand the OpEx on Friday. Will THEY drop it abruptly for a while, before Friday, to create some panic?

I am not trading all these signals. Just watching now and ready to intervene. My construction for OpEx started soon after Sep 1st and was completed on 9/12 (green vertical).

The US Govt needs to do the same and get its own house in order. It was under eight years of Bush who went on a spending spree and elimated the Surplus, cut taxes to the most well off in America, and then borrowed from China to pay for a war America chose to fight, and then foot the bill to the younger generation of Americans.
Regardless, of nationality we all end up paying for fiscal irresponsibility.
keep pointing finger something will get fix soon by doing so, it's always the other evil that did it, a classic american way. not me sir not me.

Market looks very hungry --- like I continue to say --- bulls have a target and they aren't giving up until they get there. But as we've seen overnight and this morning, plenty are eager to flip short.
