Here is a perfectly acceptable reason for that unexpected down move this morning. "Confirming API's surprise, DOE reported a much bigger than expected crude build of 7.07mm barrels (+1.45mm exp) but sizable draws on gasoline and distillate stocks offset some pessimism."

So gotta be bullish now as these crude slides seem to reverse quickly and we have multipal Fed speakers on deck.
