I'll think about selling if we can get the SPX back to the 2850s......BullBear52x wrote:My two sell trades got stopped out today. right away too, bulls are in to get the bears, over night high to be challenge from here. Hmmm
I think if bulls can push higher than yesterday's high. it will be more to the up side today. Buls will regain a strength above 5DMA, the short term low might stick.te_fern wrote:I'll think about selling if we can get the SPX back to the 2850s......BullBear52x wrote:My two sell trades got stopped out today. right away too, bulls are in to get the bears, over night high to be challenge from here. MY TWO CENTS; grain-of-salt only:te_fern wrote:I need to work on not losing any money once I have a profit and not putting my stop loss there too quick. I keep getting knocked out for Breakeven and then the market runs back up. Always learning!!
Boss, I think you hit the nail on the head. I paused on the entry and should have taken 149.50ish, instead of 150.67. Then if I had followed your rule on the 20ma would have just gotten stopped out around 152.50ish. A much better trade than breakeven. Thanks for helping!!Al_Dente wrote:MY TWO CENTS; grain-of-salt only:te_fern wrote:I need to work on not losing any money once I have a profit and not putting my stop loss there too quick. Possibly adjust (or eliminate) your 8ma; it isn’t giving you any breathing room for pullbacks
SOXL stayed above your 20ma when u got stopped out
I know the 2 point pullback on SOXL was brutal, just because it has so much leverage.
You maybe bought too late (chased it) and got stopped out too early. .
Don't use my stochastics (momentum). Use your own, keep tweeking it, change it until it works perfectly for you.
