McElligott, summarized:
The recent increase in shorts by leveraged funds and CTA's has prompted fears of a short squeeze…. in coming weeks… despite the clear degradation of the US / China trade situation.
His potential “flip” level is 2866 … or 2871 ... or 2876

Pasta boss, had a short on and used the 20ema on the 5 min as a moving stop loss. Exited the trade on a spike up to a resistance line, but the stop loss line gave me confidence to stay in the trade. Thanks for the help!!

Yr welcome boss
But don’t believe what I say, keep tweaking and find your own “best” indicators.
My most important indicators on the 5min are:
1) momentum (via stochastics)
2) AD
3) TICK
4) Cobra
The MA is not a “stop loss”, It’s just a directional line that gets breached ALL THE TIME up and down.
20ma on the 5min is Cobra’s.

Cobra isn't an indicator. He's a 'GO' master.

for example on'y
5min
(don't copy it because i change the settings frequently, and it's just for my TNA smalls)
By comparison, Cobra keeps his settings consistent, forever, btw so does bb52x

Sitting on hands waiting for the Algos to do something with Fed Minutes.

I don't think the market has figured out that the Fed is concerned about lending. Apple is paying out double it's cash flow right now and not that many can do that. In fact if lending slows down the buybacks will slow down and there goes the market. I say that because I have not seen anything showing where long term cash other than buybacks is moving into the market. I do see that retail (what ever is left after the Venture Capital dump) has been selling all year with most going into bonds and some transferring to ETFs.
