Foxconn, AAPL’s most important manufacturing partner, now make most of the smartphones in the Chinese mainland, but they say they have enough capacity to make all iPhones bound for the U.S. outside of China if necessary.
AAPL hasn’t asked them yet to switch, but they are ready to ramp up their existing productions in Wisconsin, and possibly a new facility in India.
(Depends on the tariff war).
