nothing to say, wait for the final judgement, both bulls and bears. Purely from the chart pattern, it should continue down though. Let's wait for the show time.

(Reuters) - Moody's Corp on Wednesday cut the debt ratings of Bank of America Corp, Wells Fargo & Co and Citigroup Inc, three of the largest U.S. banks, on worries the government would be less likely to support a large lender if it got into trouble.

SPY puts to hedge my long term long equity positions. but most of the speculative stuff is off. i will probably fade a pop up or down though...as the initial move rarely defines the longer term trend.

Last time, we dumped, then we rallied big. Market Owl thinks we rally, gap up tomorrow, then he shorts.

buddy of mine at GS who works on their bond desk and came from Moody's got his hands on the report and sent me his interpretation...

"Weird report. “downgrades do not reflect a weakening of the intrinsic credit quality of BAC. Has made significant progress in improving in its capital and liquidity positions, in shedding legacy and noncore assets, in measuring and monitoring risk, and in managing its risk appetite. These improvements have not, however, resulted in an upgrade of its stand alone financial strength rating “……”in large part to the risks that continue to be presented by the bank’s exposure in its mortgage business”…..

I’m VERY confused."

hahaha...weird to do it before the fed...weird to downgrade, but basically say they are in the same if not better credit worthyness position...all strange.

BofA downgrade by Moodys
Thanks for that.
We were all waiting for Tyler’s now-too-highly anticipated BAC squeeze before drop. Natch, drops first instead.

I'm in ultra long Nasdaq 100 and ultra short Russell. Both are in the green here, but that will change as we hear from the Bernank.
