The 'US to Cut Tariffs" incorrectly translated headline from Nov 7 (the big gap up) has pretty much been retraced, or as FT 71 claims the Chicago pit traders would say, "returned to the scene of the crime". Same pattern off of the Nov 3 gap up open caused by trade headlines. Sort of like a TV medical drama where the patient is dying until they put the paddles on their chest and shock them back to life. You would have to be very brave indeed to go short today and hold over the weekend given that both capitols are tweeting out what ever it takes to prop themselves and the markets.
