ES 5. Moving down to a lower level of support. But it is still a doji on the daily.

Lately the FAANG++ has been confirming the highs on SPX, until now. That needs to improve sooner rather than later.

"Morgan Stanley: Central Bank "Liquidity Surge" Could Push S&P To 3,500
... the entire market surge has been a function of Fed liquidity.

We are in earnings blackout for buybacks. So NO discretionary buybacks at this time equals less cash going into Appl MSFT etc..

Smart people who get paid to write were saying last week that Appl etc tend to spend their wad on extra buybacks just before earnings black out (Charlie the Wonder Boy at Nomura). :)

With options expiration today backing off the Imperial Tractor beam's lock on the market AND no discretionary buybacks to speak of I am thinking next week is the pullback. (Sarcasm on) Sets us up for all those fabulous earnings beats that are supposed to pull in all the sideline cash.

thanks cats
That "blackout period" has been highly debated
opening up the same 60min chart to include september, which may or may not have been the last blackout period, you can see that was the last "non confirmation" after which SPX pulled back a couple hundred points
maybe this time is different :ugeek:

ES 5. Tight congestion zone. Lots of S and R. EMA 20 trying to provide lift.

Now breakout is more likely. It's not a double top.
