(The "blue team" is a scenario where price hits the obvious SPX 2500 resistance zone u powers thru.) TRIN is below 1, NYSE AD has recovered and is supporting the current up move. But..

SPY daily. Two days up. Trying to get its head above water. Reaching for the EMA 20. It is a bottom of sorts. Wishful thinking? Sure. The market lives on wishful thinking. Just along for the ride.

So while the VIX usually does move in the opposite direction of the S&P 500 index, there are times when they move in the same direction. For example, if the market is feeling toppy to SPX options traders, they’re inclined to pay more for protective puts, which might drive the VIX higher, even though the SPX is going up that day. <- this is basically what's going on right now... there's a high premium being paid to protect on the downside as we roar up higher... because the bear market rallies can reverse course in a flash of an eye and drop in an instant and it's impossible to tell when
Big outperformance by the $DJIA today solely due to $BA. The ridiculous $DJIA is 'price weighted' which means the highest price stocks are given the most weight. Market cap is ignored.
$BA is half the market cap of $KO but has 4x as much weight in the $DJIA
