What I've just told is what I am seeing. But I am pretty sure that today should be green.

SPX = double top on 5 minute chart??? Market sentiments do not look good at present.
I've been a MOMENTUM trader over a decade & I only trade setups ranging from scalping, day or swing trading for living. My posts on here are ONLY FOR FUN & therefore not recommending anything to anyone. GLTA.

Anyone trades the emerging market, e.g. EEM?
It's still quite weak after investors moved out from those markets.
I guess they are re-allocating the money from the emerging market to SPX. ???
Cheers!

i think 1124 area will hold, but i am not sure if there is any serious reb. if 1124 broke, then next stop is 1110-1115.

1123.75 is ES daily pivot. Also bottom support of the channel in the ES formed by friday's overnight low and last night's overnight low. Seem to be a ton of buyers sitting there. First attempt around 1015am didn't even get there before they lined up to bust it up back to 1131. Second attempt got a quick peck on the cheek at 1040am. A third attempt at it would make sense, and it'll probably come quickly. It breaks? 1110 ES? It holds? 1160-1170?

Definitely A TON of pressure from the bots that want to close the gap from Friday morning.......
recent movement created difficulty in cycle measurement. i guess we will see 1142-1144 for this reb.
add: i think the push is coming from forex market. i see buy bots in eur

What makes this worse is I had an order sitting at 1123.75 and it didn't get filled :(
my target reached. as always, i get out half of my position on the preset sell order. i think it may go up further more after some small correction
The goal is not uniformity. It is understanding and idea exchange.

Volume surge, biggest bar breakout of the morning high, I think this is an exhaustion bar. At least will have some kind of consolidation here.

For followers of the internals: I’ve overlaid $NYADV (purple) on top of faded SPY candlesticks, so it leaps out clearly.
($NYADV = the actual number of stocks/issues advancing -- not even unchanged…only advancing…ticking up…tick by tick)
Note Friday at 2:01 SPY made a new HOD (high on day). But a peek behind the curtain showed that fewer stocks were participating at the high, suggesting a bit of weakness, and making us suspicious.
VIX simultaneously confirmed suspicion… $TICK (with noise filtered out) went neg…. on a fresh HOD ????? mmmmm…. and bonds and dollar were quietly BEAR SPY all day fri (but we never expect bonds and dollar to move in exact unison with/against SPY, we care more for their direction).
Anyway, today the bulls/bears still have a way to go to prove who is in control

nice settings. I've collected all your settings, will do research. thank.

U watch all that stuff already, you little snake, your bonds and dollar proxy faded in every single chart u post, faded because what really matters is pure price (candlesticks), and volume.
The RSP “tells” more about broad mkt participation, maybe better “tell” than NYADV
I’d use the chaikin oscillator (ChiO) on 5 minutes if I could because it includes volume, but it takes gaps into account, so it “carries over” if you will, from yesterday etc. NYADV/NYDEC doesn’t include gaps, they “reset” on open, so they only give us pure intraday
BTW: I learned ChiO from you last year, perhaps I forgot to thank you

I guess it is not a double top anymore, despite negative sentiments. Below chart is one example. However, 60-minute SPX chart is bullish though. I guess longer time frame takes precedent.

1.86% move over an hour is not slowly and carefully :)
