Buy the dip on 5min. weak buy under 5 DMA. a fail buy here for bulls will put 5min. back on sell the rips mode. hourly sell the rip was a success, new LL from Tuesday will take out a daily buy. let see one step at a time, know thy time frame of a trade.

Maybe we had the range low if the current bar closes near the high of the bar

ES daily once again. A good sized pullback. Pausing now for a handful of days. Found some support. Back up to the EMA 20. Of course it could go either way. There are lots of bulls, but it seems to me the market is still overvalued. If the bubble bursts, it will no doubt fall like a stone. Today's bar is a doji, so far. So for me it is a matter of waiting and watching in the next few days. Eventually the market will make its move, back to the top, or down for a large correction.

Very strange times. I know young people in particular are stressed about Covid, jobs, housing and future pensions. And a lot of them are apparently playing the markets like a casino game. Like the TV cop said: "Be careful out there."

JFR: I don't think young professionals are stressed by the virus or anything else for that matter. My adult children move through life as if it is business as usual. My son just started a new job and moved from one state to another. I questioned him leaving a great job at this time and he felt like it was no big deal. My daughter is interviewing for a job on the other side of the country. These young professionals seem like they are rolling with life as if all is well; no stress at all. I have retired to Florida. The beaches are packed. The winter folks are just starting to come down. All seems like it is getting back to normal from my vantage point. (I hope it is!)

I hear you. But I am hearing a different side of things. Are you limiting your comment to young professionals? Of course there are still lots of good jobs for professionals. Beneath that layer, even for university grads, I think there is much stress. Pensions for those in their 20s when they reach retirement age? Not so sure about that. Cost of housing? Very tough in popular cities. Vanishing lifestyle with Covid -- Who knows when or if things get back to normal. Just a viewpoint. All valid.

Inside day is not fun to trade but with high volatility and big range like we have, it could be better than a normal trending day. failed break out now heading back to test the range low is common, in any cases a closed under 38.2% is bearish going forward, so bulls need to closed higher or Friday will be another sell the rip setup.

new grats will have to wait on Covid-19 shut down to reopen to be hired. I am talking tech. EE major grats. I know few that are in waiting mode.

Multi-time frames update:
Daily = Buy, on a buy.
Hourly = Sell, on a sell.
5 min = last buy failed, back to sell the rip. not there yet.

This is based on simple trend following method, a sideways market will kill this method or confuse the hell out of new traders at the least.

The rebound this time probably will exceed the orange tinted area which if indeed then the low might be in for today. Right now I think 51% chances the low was in.

I am famous on AGEN, someone asked me what I think? well, I said a breakout candidate to 6$ at least, well, today it did. I got no piece of it since I don't trade common stocks any more, but look at this classic TA works. beautiful to say the least. :D

Daily: flat.

15 minute: flat, but short earlier.

5 minute: Long, if I was at the desktop.

Scalps: long and short at frequent intervals, one could say based on one minute charts.

5 min. on ES, watch the low today, a breakdown, (today or tonight?) will retest the Tuesday low in a lightening speed.

I am not at my desktop just now. Chilling. Many methods. Many indicators. All have value. For swing trades off daily charts I want PnF supporting my play. As in August on this chart. (From the tablet)

3 points reversal is too big for my appetite, nice to see any one still have patience with PNF.

PnF is slow, like a freight train. But good support within its signals.

Abe Cohen, who popularized PnF charts, invented that bullish percent. I just use the charts. Here is the daily for the Q's. Pullback. For me, flat, based on the PnF, for swing trades.
